We love Lane Kennedy’s passion for supporting mothers! Lane is the host of the “Recover Like A Mother” podcast and is definitely not your ordinary Meditation and Mindfulness teacher. She has been a meditator for over two decades, is a certified recovery coach, Yoga Nidra guide, Breathwork Facilitator and Yin Yoga Teacher. And she’s a self-proclaimed DNA nerd and is super passionate about using your own unique DNA to stop stress in it’s tracks. What was the inspiration for your company?

Knowing that mothers are the most important part of our culture and that they need support. Support the mother and every aspect of the her world changes, change her world change everything.

What is your background & how has it helped you build your company?

I’ve has the opportunity to do (travel, volunteer) many things and study for many years. I also live in long-term recovery from alcohol and drugs this brings great awareness to help others who struggle with anxiety depression and addiction.

What is unique about your products?

What is unique about the products I have created comes from the experience that I have lived through and helped others grow from I have also taken scientific research to create the protocols.

Once you had the idea, what were the first few steps you took to launch it?

I started a podcast to be able to reach more women.

What drives you?

I have a deep desire to change the way women mothers are treated and live in today’s world. When we support mothers we begin to change the world.

What is the most valuable lesson you've learned so far as an entrepreneur?

To allow myself to make mistakes and to allow myself to evolve and not judge the experience but rather allow myself to keep growing.

What are the best & hardest parts of being a parent and a founder?

Allowing myself to expand knowing I’m not going to fall apart.

How do you "balance" motherhood/parenthood and entrepreneurship?

There is no such thing as balance in motherhood, parenthood, for entrepreneurship. I see it as living my life fully and expressing what I’m here to create and share with others.

Any final advice you'd like to share?

I typically don’t like to give advice but what I will share is that if you do not have a practice of meditation start meditating now.

Lane Kennedy is today’s no nonsense modern day, Calm Maker. Not your ordinary Meditation and Mindfulness teacher. She is a holistic practitioner, DNA nerd and host of Recover Like A Mother podcast. She has been a meditator for over two decades and teaches publicly, and privately for Government Agencies, Corporations and for those seeking recovery in San Francisco and Abroad.   As a seeker, Lane has sought to harness the power of human capacity. She’s a graduate of the Neuroscience Academy, one of the first graduates of the Human Potential Institute, a Hormone Cure Practitioner and an Epigenetic Coach. Lane became certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to complement her decades-long meditation practice. She is also a certified recovery coach, two times certified Yoga Nidra guide, Breathwork Facilitator and Yin Yoga Teacher.
